ginger.

We  adopted a  puppy the other day! This was something we've been talking about for a while now, since before we left Germany. Right now, with our lives seeing so serious and what not, we thought it would the perfect time. I'm still job hunting, so I'll definitely be home for some weeks. I am going to use this time to try and make this cute little girl feel at home, train her, and just love the crap out of her. IMG_2931 IMG_2953 IMG_2961

Her mane is Ginger, and she was the last of all her brothers and sisters to be adopted, mainly because she's incredibly shy. She jumps at EVERYTHING. Any sound in this house does not go unnoticed with this girl. When we got her 3 days ago, she wouldn't even let us touch her, but she's come a long way since then. She's still very timid, but she likes to cuddle and is so sweet. She's only 3 months old, so she'll definitely come around, I think. She's also a German Shepherd/Labrador mix, so she'll most likely be pretty big soon. I'm trying to enjoy the cute timid baby we have now, but I can't wait for her to loosen up and be a typical puppy soon :-).

  4. Best decision EVER! We adopted our puppy a year ago and she has become such a joy in our lives. Nothing makes you feel happier, and more alive than a little furry face. Ginger is precious.

    1. I actually read your post (I think it's called "Life After Puppy", a couple of days before adopting her! Reading that post kind of sealed the deal for me, so thanks Bekuh :-D
